I love writing fantasy stories, poems, and also creating artwork that include my pets and other dogs and cats of friends. More recently I love painting wildlife and especially big cats, my other love is painting humans too and am really working on that. My main joy is using wacom intuos3 as it reminds me of my youth when I was always to be found sketching in my notepad, the old fashioned way.
Digital art for me began with my animal photography using a Finepix S5000 camera, and then I joined Renderosity [link] and gradually moved into mixed medium, and photomanipulation digital art. At first I used PS6.0 software, but have moved onto Adobe PS CS4 extended, I also use Corel Painter 11 and as mentioned before love using my wacom intuos 3. My latest software is Poser 8, but I still have a lot to learn before submitting any 3D art on here.
My son who is quite well known and a top vendor on DAZ3d (Predatron) introduced me to Photoshop and taught me the basic but from there it was up to me. So I am mostly self taught and usually spend most days enjoying creating or looking at the fabulous galleries either on DA or Renderosity, or CGS that always inspire.
At present I am compiling a book including my artwork and fantasy stories, and hope to be able to find a publisher who will take me on perhaps later this year.
